AND yes i heard about the #1 QB making a visit to campus sometime last week. Lets cross our fingers and hope he joins. Also heard about the dual QBs, it will make an interesting year.

Also heard about the dual QBs, it will make an interesting year.[/b]The past has been better than you should expect - Oregon isn't a premier type of program that turns out top 10 classes every year. Still, there's been some big gets - snoop certainly comes to mind, among others. Terrelle Pryor has not visited Eugene. Chip Kelly met with him today in Penn, but there's no trip officially planned as of now (there were reports that he'd be there on Monday, but no dice.) Hopefully Chip can convince him to make the trip, because if he does I think we stand a great chance of landing him. If not he won't commit to Oregon. Regarding the incoming QB's already committed, I personally don't think they'll impact next year. I still think Costa will be Oregon's QB next year, though certainly Thomas, Harper and Roper will state a claim.

Just before my last track season at Oregon, Nike turned a small parking lot at the North end of Hayward Field into a damn nice locker room with a training room in the middle and meeting rooms/offices above that. Yeah, we were spoiled. I miss all the free shoes!

Yeah, we were spoiled. I miss all the free shoes! I didn't know you ran track at Oregon. That's awesome. (insert obligatory Pre picture)  When were you there, and what did you compete in? I don't follow track/cc real close but I understand Vin Lananna was a great hire.

sorry missed seeing your reply. I was way before Vin ('89-'94). Ran X-Country (and even scored a few pts for the team) as well as everything from the 800m to the 10,000m in Track. Dellinger was my coach - after 3 seasons I think he might have learned my last name. ![[LOL]](graemlins/lol.gif) Honestly, I was what we walk-ons called ourselves - a "Scrub". (Before the TV show. ) My best 10k was just under 32 minutes. 4:16-ish for the mile. 8:37 in the 3k. Not super fast, but fast enough to stay on the team all 5 years. (red-shirted my 1st yr) As a kid all I wanted to do was run for the Ducks.
