Have been looking for the frame stiffening supports for the tow bar for my 03 X. Previous owner put on a good quality tow bar, but did not get the re-enforcement plates with it.

Have searched the web high and low for a source, but am coming up dry. Have had no luck at the local dealer either. Anybody have any parts sources that may have what I need?

I got mine from skid row. skidplates.com is the site. They do not show them on the site but I do know that they at least did offer them in the past. You might want to give them a call

Thanks for the quick reply, checked with skid row, and they stopped making them last summer.

They gave me a list of retailers that they shipped out to, and I called all of them and struck out as well.

Am now doing a search of salvage yards. It is a real PITA.

Update on the search for frame stiffeners for the series I X, have found a source. Shcrockworks makes them, though they do not list them in their on-line catalog.

So if you are looking to add a tow hitch, the parts are out there to do the job right. I am waiting for mine to arrive, but expect they will be of the same good quality as other Schrockworks products.
