Alright so i believe i have a blown head gasket, have any of you ran into this and what were the cost of repairs. i do not have guts to take on this job myself so i will be taking it to a friend who has a shop. Wondering mainly on what the costs would be currently i have a 2000 xe with a little less than 150k miles. any help would be great. I am hoping it is not a blown HG but i cant really figure out what else would have caused it to start smoking and "bucking". Iv checked the water pump its still cycling fluids grant it it does loose a little but not anything that would be sufficient enough to cause these problems. If you have any other suggestions please let me know before i drop im sure around a grand. Thanks.

what color is the smoke? Is there bubling in the coolant? Is the oil milky?
