I don't have the rear bumper guard, but I do have a brush guard. The brush guard is a breeze to install (should be very similar to the sportster). My guess is that they mount exactly the same way underneath, but the sportster probably doesn't have any upper anchors -- don't think it needs one either since it is considerably smaller than the brush guard. I can't imaging the rear guard being too difficult either. Just be sure to have a couple extra buddies giving you a hand to hold it up while you bolt it on.
