A 2000 Xterra 4X4 XE,Red(pw,pd,pl,cd,ect..)101,000.$9,600.I have done some research and these Xterras seem to be reliable.Any thoughts about price would be appreciated.Also,is the milage too much,have any of you had problems with them??Thanks in advance.I have driven it once and it drives nice,dosn't seem to have problems.

Price is reasonable, if not a touch high, for that vehicle. The only problem I'd have with buying one at 101k miles is that the timing belt is scheduled to be replaced at 105k miles.

Find out for sure whether or not this service has already been done. If it hasn't, you're looking at around $500 (or more) in service that will be due soon after you drive off the lot.

Other than that, you should be fine. The engine and drivetrain should still be pretty tight at 100k miles.

I have a 2000 X SE and have 117,000 and still running strong. I had to replace a altanator 2 years ago other than that, still crawling rocks and slinging mud. not a bad price, any mods to it, if so get? [ThumbsUp]

If the timing belt & water pump have not been changed make an offer. They should be changed at 100,000.
