Got an "owners manual update" from Nissan re: alternate jacking points for XTerra's with 15" wheels. I would assume it went out to everyone with an "X" that came stock with 15" rims. It's basically an additional page to add to the owners manual in that section. I didn't need mine since I've got 17" rims now (take-off's from an '02 SE/SC) but I just thought I'd mention it in case anyone out there didn't get one and needs it. I'd try a call to your dealer or Nissan's 800 number if you need one.

Apparently it's dangerous, or at the very least could cause damage, if you jack an "X" with 15" wheels using the jack placement shown in the manual and this add-on page is the "fix."

I got m ine last thursday. The girlfriend has hers when I visited this weekend and she lives in Canada...so I assume everyone got one.

Yep, got mine about 2 weeks ago.
Its not that it was dangerous using the original location, it was because you could not get the jack in place with a 15" + flat..therefore the axle location.

I haven't recieved mine yet. I moved this year but did notify the dealer ( and Nissan ) of the change.

I'll keep my eye out for it. Thanks for the heads up.
