Does anyone know what the pressure range is before the low inflation warning light comes on. I just bought a 2005 X and the valve stem plunger was bent. Evidently it had leaked some air because the indicator went on but my tires all looked like they were inflated enough. I noticed the bent plunger when I put air in the tires but couldn't inflat the one with the bent plunger. Replaced it and everything is OK now but wondered how/what senses the lower pressure and activates the switch and warning light.
Thanks

Thanks Pony After reading the comments where you directed me to I was still a little confused . I checked somemore on the net and see where they sell units now that can be installed and monitor and show all of the tires condition. There's a monitor that can be set on the dash. I also see where they have indicators that screw onto the valve stem and indicate which tire would have low pressure. It's unbelieable what they can do today with this wireless stuff. Thanks again.
