Hey boys I searched but was unable to find anything usefull on this. I am buying a set of 31x10.5 r15 trxu's and I want to buy a set of steel rims for them. I want to keep my stock grabbers on the stock rims for long road trips and use the trxu's for every day and wheelin. What are yalls recommendations on some good affordable rims for the tires should I go with another set of stock rims or should I opt for the steel and go with some black ones. Also what are the exact specs of the rims I should be looking for I now 15x7 with 6 lugs but is there anything else I should know.

If you're lucky, you might be able to find someone getting rid of the steel rims that came on some Xterras. Those are the same wheels that the spares are on.

ok so they will custom size backspacing on the rock crawlers which are the ones I want but I need to know what the backspacing is and what size rims I should get 15x7 or 15x8

Go here grasshopper, and all your questions shall be answered. backspacing discussion I thought this would be easier than to start harrassing you for not searching, starting a pissing contest and such. Doesn't it sometimes feel like you have to extract information from people that will waste time all week with endless babble.

you are absolutely right craig it takes as much effort to flame someone for not searching as it does to answer the damn question or point them in the right direction.

One thing people need to know is that even though a particular subject has been covered many times, a lot of threads that pertain to them don't exist anymore. I remember quite a few threads about these rims yet they don't come up when you search for them.

Isn't the point of all the discussions we have in threads to come up with a simple answer. Why not just give that answer to others without making them go through all the work we did. Many of us struggled to figure out how to mount tow hooks on the X and when we found a simple solution finally we tell others so they wont struggle in the same manner.

OK... instead of starting a new topic, I'm bringing back an old one... does anyone here have the rockcrawler wheels with the Swamper LTB's? I'm fixing to buy this setup and I'm worried about rubbing issues... I've done a search (obviously) and never found a good answer... I'm more worried about backspacing and\or offset...

Well I'll chime in here.. I have the 15x8 Rock Crawlers with 4" backspacing (read 0 offset) and 31x11.50R15LT TrXus STS on my X. Before the Torsion Bar adjustment and the 3pack AAL's I could not turn without serious rubbing (even with serious trimming) and offroading was out of the question. They didn't stuff into the wheel well enough. After the "Lift" things are much better however I still have not tried any serious compression. So make sure you do the math. The guys who make the custom backspaced Rock Crawlers said that I should look at a 4.75 backspace but I already had mine so.. maybe that's your answer??

One other suggestion is to keep the stock Steelies and put your new tire on that (although not the recommended size by Interco it will work)

Just my .02 and I had searched prior to my purchase and I didn't find the exact answer I was looking for either.

Hope it's somewhat helpful [Wave]

If you are looking for STOCK alloy or steel wheels check out http://www.wheels-and-tires.com

I think they have 2000/2001 wheels, but I don't know about 2002+.

These are the wheels I will be buying in the next month. They look pretty sweet and they don't have that ridiculous red and blue strip around the edge.

It's personal preference but I recommend 15x8 especially if you have a lift. Most people don't go for the chrome centers but I quite like it. They were around 5 bucks a piece. The AR767 rims were 30 bucks each. The 4x4 shop ordered them with backspacing as close as they could to stock spacing. Here's my setup below..

These are sweet though...
