I've seen conflicting reports on the winch bumper. Some winch themselves out of stuff and have no problems, others end up ripping the thing out. I don't want to ruin the bumper or my frame, so is there a definitive answer on this? If I attach a shackle to the bumper and try to get out of the muck, I'd like to not ruin everything. laugh

Opinions?

You will tweak an ARB that way but the Calmini would be fine as long as you don't pull too hard.

However, if you are not putting a winch in and you want a tow point on the front bumper you should get the receiver adapter plate that Calmini offers. This plate incorporates a standard receiver so you can use a WARN or similar receiver shackle. THis will be stronger and will center your tow point. It also gives you a place to mounts a couple lights.
