In the Ukraine. Good luck getting the copywrite police on them.

You can tell by the guy's email address that he jacks all kinds of copywrited logos and duplicates them.

It's very possible that he doesn't even own any of those stickers, and just takes the money and run. If you deal over the internet with a stranger half a world away, you get what you deserve.

the thing is that really isn't the logo. sure the guy has the xterra logo but isn't that copyrighted by nissan? couldn't nissan come after ian for using it (unless he got permission). plus the guy is using solid red instead of ian's messy red (however you wanna put it) plus this guy's web adress is in blue as the original is in grey. plus looking at my original sticker i dont see a C in a circle anywhere on it either.

i'm really not trying to condone what the guy is doing but i doubt ebay will remove the item...

Is it a coincidence that after a few weeks of members clamoring for stickers, we suddenly have some available on ebay? Didn't we used to have a member who went back to Eastern Europe?

When you look at the other items he has for sale, he difinately has jacked lots of other copyright logos along with some strange stickers like "I'D RATHER BE AT A CLAY AIKEN CONCERT" bumper sticker.

I actually like his Xterra stickers even if they are rip offs.

I think if the guy can change the appearance of the sticker atleast 25%, it's okay for him to use it.

I think what it comes down to is that the XOC sticker is not copyrighted, if Nissan has it in their commercial or not...therefor nothing is stopping this guy from making these. It was the same as "Its a jeep thing" until jeep went and copyrighted the phrase...I also dont support this guy but technically no law has been broken...just taken someones idea for a club sticker.
