New, got some ? - 13/12/05 02:13 AM

Hey guys, I am a new owner of a 01 XE. This is my first truck,I just sold my 96 integra so its kind of a werid transition. It's also my first auto, really not as boring as I thought when I bought it. I'm a dealer at a local casino so anyone that lives in norcal and plays poker anywhere in Santa Rosa or Sacramento hit meup.

What kind of stuff do you guys do to increase MPG besides intake and exhaust?

Anyone know any recalls or anything weird about my year and model?

I'll get some pics later on this week.

Go to www.nissanhelp.com and click on the ownership tab at the top then click on recalls then select the model and year. It will tell you of all the recalls that have came out for that model year. Since you are still at the dealer looking at it get the vin and go to the service dept and have them put in the vin to tell you if all recalls affecting that truck have been performed. If not then have them tell you which ones were not done. Then tell your sales guy that you want all of the recalls done before you take possession of the truck. You can always do it after you get it since there's no time limit on when it needs to be done and it won't cost you anything since they have to do all of the work for free. Hope that helps.
