light sensors - 27/05/08 07:58 PM
Ok i have two of those light post that have light sensors that when it gets dark the lights turn on inside them. i went to change the lightbulbs in them and all of a sudden they only light up about half as what they use to and even stay on during the day....is there some sort of process that i need to do to make them run properly? thanks

What wattage did you take out/put in? Its possible that you have crud in the receptacle effecting pass through voltage.
Take your hand off the sensor...

You have to perform some kind of sequence with the switch.

The ones I have actually turn within themselves (hard to explain I know) If the sensor screws into the light socket and then you put the bulb into the sensor so to speak then try pushing the sensor itself either clockwise or counter clockwise. Mine do that and I can adjust how much light it takes to set them off or constant on.
