Hybrid vehicles... - 02/05/03 03:52 PM

Just came across this article and was wondering if anyone knows if Nissan has any plans on releasing a hybrid vehicle(s) and if so which one(s)?

I want a hybrid WAGON. Why can't they make a hybrid that can hold some stuff? Wagons is where it's at.

Getting close...the 2004 Prius is like a 4 door hatchback and has a large cargo area. Actually a pretty nice looking car IMO.

how about an Electric wagon, Nissan has worked on a couple electrics; Altra EV back in the 90's. I got to drive one of these when I worked for them. It was great - they only came out with them in the US for a fleet purchase for the state of California.

Like Kerensky97 said, they switched paths and are looking into Hydrogen now.

how does the power differ from hydro and electric?
i'm not too up-to-date with electric hybrid motors, have they started cranking out higher powered motors yet? if not, i don't think a hybrid 4,000 lb suv would even move with the motor that's in some of today's hybrid cars.
