It snowed in Damascus (sp?) a few years back, pretty cool to see palm trees covered in snow.

Snowed here early 2006 in Phoenix Metro area. Wife ran in all confused and said "It's snowing outside". Although there was no official report of snow.
Got a pic somewhere of the snowflakes on her black jacket.
The last time there was officially measurable snow in Phoenix was in 1937.

I saw some of the pics posted online. There were a lot of happy faces, both kids and adults. Good for them.
