Wireless Router connection HELP!

Wireless Router connection HELP! - 02/02/08 04:31 PM

I just bought a reconditioned Dell Vostro 1500 for Grad School, and I cannot connect to my WPA protected Wireless Router (Linksys WRT54GP2).

Dell Wireless Utility is asking for my Network Key, I put in the password for the router, but it does not connect. How do I find my Network Key from the Router Utility?

Try opening a browser and enter 192.168.1.1 That should get you into the Linksys utility. If you haven't changed the password and forgot it then user is "administrator" and pw is "admin". Click on wireless, then on wireless security and it should be there.

I found the network key, but I am still unable to connect. I am at a total loss on what to do next. Guess I'll keep stealing the neighbors signal...

Got it figured out yesterday, just needed to reconfigure the router and I connected right up.
