2. I think Manning deserves a ring, and the team is playing good so far. Even though they are in the same division as us and deep down inside I hope we kick their butts again.
Denver had 15 passing first downs and only 3 rushing first downs. Plummer threw for 248 yards, mostly because we were so far behind. Our team was out of rythm and their team wasn't. We put up 10 points. This was an ugly game. They beat us and we laid an egg. Next story.
Chargers Overall: 23rd Scoring: 20th Rushing: 6th
We had 21 passing first downs. 6 were on third down. That means that we converted 15 times on first and second down, which is actually prefered. Our O struggled this game. Jake threw for 248 yards and was 23-37 which is respectable. Mike only had 49 yards on the day. We put up 20 points. Jake played well this game, but everyone else didn't. Their passing D is weaker but their rushing D is solid. This was how it looked in our game too.
Chiefs Overall: 27th Scoring: 22nd Rushing: 7th
We had 24 first downs with 8 being on third. That means that two thirds of our conversions came on first and second. That's actually exceptional. We rushed for 221 yards. Jake threw for 182 yards. We put up 30 points. We smoked these guys. A fraud defense and we exposed it. Seems like a good offensive showing to me.
Jags Overall: 6th Scoring: 8th Passing: 2nd
24 first downs with 5 coming from third. That means that 80% were converted on second and first down. We passed for 118 yards and rushed for 188. 20 points. The numbers look small, but you need to consider how this is one of the best passing defenses in the league. Our ability to not get into third down was once again shown. You don't hang a bunch of points on the Jags, but we managed to put a pair of passing touchdowns on them - that's their strongest area.
Washington Overall: 4th Scoring: 5th Rushing: 15th Passing: 6th
165 yards rushing and two TD's against what was until they played us one of the top rushing defenses in the league. Look at where they are at in passing defense. The only thing here is that they haven't played too many premiere teams, and it was raining. The bigger number is the rushing numbers we were able to put up. We knocked their ranking there down a few pegs.

Why everyone is wrong on jumping on the colts bandwagon:
Lets look at this "fantastic" colts D and who they've played :
-Baltimore: has certainly struggled on offense (ranked 25th Offense), even when Boller was still playing.
-Jacksonville: (ranked 22d Offense) hasn't scored more than 26 points or so for a couple of years.
-Cleveland: (ranked 16th offense) has been okay, but isn't really a powerhouse.
-Tennessee (ranked 23d offense) hasn't been too hot.
-49ers (ranked 31st offense), were horrendous, especially with a rookie QB.
Their remaining schedule is the easiest in the NFL. Basically, the league is begging for peyton to screw up again. Im trembling...
