2000 xterra transmission fluid color?

Well pulled the dip stick and its clear which scares me is it supposed to be that color? This is my first Nissan also it has no shifting problems it runs good and shifts pretty firm except for the 40mph shudder sound you don't feel it but you hear it which could be a lot of things.

Ahh I called Nissan they said if it was maintained buy the stealership than It would be fine which it was maintained by the dealer since new not since ive gotten it though no need I do my oil changed myself etc just not the big things... they said its regular trans fluid with no dye.
