Scouting Run

Hey, i'm going down to Big Sur area to check out some trails on the Tues the 24th or Wed the 25th. Anyone interested in joining me. I'll be coming from Brentwood.

I might be able to join you for a day run, I live in the Monterey area, so it's not much of a drive for me.

Have fun, Dave. One of the things I most remember from being down there for the first CalX was the Bixby Creek Bridge (Rainbow Bridge) at one end of the Old Coast Road, north of Big Sur. You get a very nice view of it near the end of the trail. That was also the trip when I learned not to leave the sunroof open on a dirt trail run, especially when you're the last guy in a VERY long line of trucks.

Also Ridge Trail, about 10 miles from Bixby Bridge, off Nacimiento-Fergusson Road is another easy and fun trail, pretty dusty too though.
