Yasha, you're absolutely more than welcome to set up a run on that day. Just post here where you want to go, the details (departure times, etc.), vehicle requirements, food/drink needs, etc. Often, Huey and other more seasoned members don't have quite the amount of free time we would like to have, and cannot always squeeze in runs for everyone everytime.

For example, personally I cannot make it on July 18th (which is a Friday), but other club members' schedules may be open.

So, basically, my point is that NCCX is YOUR club, it's OUR club. I think our approach to trip planning and events is: If you want to do it, get excited about it, pick the date, and start a thread! Don't be discouraged because a "seasoned member" cannot attend or does not respond.
