North of the boarder get together.

I was just wondering if your club is going to be getting together at all this summer to do any trail runs in BC. It's getting kind of boring wheeling by myself, also I only know of one trail (The Whipsaw) the rest of the time I'm on logging roads.

Our membership in BC is pretty limited--only 4 people, I think. One of them is pretty active, but he usually just comes down for WA runs since historically we haven't had good turnouts in BC. I know there's been some interest over on thenewx.org board in starting up a separate (from PNWX) BC Xterra club, but I haven't heard anything from him lately.

I haven't wheeled in BC myself, but Vedder Mountain has been pretty popular with BCer's in our club in the past. Here's a big list of other places you might look into:
- Harrison Lake: Sloquet Hot Springs, Sunrise Lake
- Hope Area: Sowebry Creek, Hicks Creek
- Pemberton: Spetch Creek Basin, Hurley Silver Mine Road, Copper Creek to Seton Lake
- Fraser Canyon: Spuzzum-Urquhart Creek, Uztlius Creek Traverse
- Manning/Ashnola/Similkameen: Whipsaw, Friday Creek, Agate Mountain, Placer Lake, Placer Mountain-Ashnola Traverse
- Lillooet Area: Texas Creek-Molybdenite Lake

Vancouver Island:
- Victoria: Leechtown/West Leech Fallsto Shawnigan Lake
- Duncan/Cowichan Valley: Mount Tzuhalem
- Parksville-Nanaimo: Mount Arrowsmith Trailhead
- Uclulet-Tofino: Clayoquot Arm, Tofino Creek, Virgin Falls, Mount Ozzard
- Cowichan Lake: Blue Grass Hill
