OK, I need to change my vacation plans for next summer Instead of going sailing I am thinking about a California and Yosemite Park vacation. Camping along with maybe some trails and a lot of site seeing. Want to check out Route 66 too.

I don't want to kill myself so it will be a 10 days to 2 weeks trip. Maybe even checkout (not run) the Rubicon.

I would like to make some stops on the way and on the way back.

I know it's a long time away... but putting out some feelers

That sounds pretty much exactly like something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
