I've been wondering....why did you go with a 2" bl intead of a 3"? I was looking at the sparetire carrier on line, and I noticed it said it would work with no lift or 2". That is the only erason I could think that you might have gone that way, that or you just didn't want a 3".

Anybody know if the rear spare tire carrier will work with a 3" bl?

Do you have the $$$ for a spare tire carrier right now? No? Then don't worry about it! [Finger]

The 2" does not require gas filler ext. radiator move or shift levers modded. Just a lot of work for 1 " I thought. I will not go larger than 33" MT's so it was sufficient. Maybe when it becomes a trailer rig but not now.

If you look close I had to MacGuyverize the bumper facia for the rear bumper. I still need to get it raised 2"s Just been busy and lazy.

Plus now with the Titan [Smoking] I don't need to tow with the X so I can raise the bumper .....

Kraig, some of us are planning ahead. [Finger]

Roger, were you running 33's or 32's? i could have sworn you said 32's. Will there be any rubbing issues with a 3" sl 2"bl and 33 MTs on a 2000 X?

That reminds me - Keith, did you bust one of my tires? What did you do?

Yes, I currently have 32X11.5X15's but I knew I was upgrading to 33's.I am just waiting for closer to GONE smile

2"BL seems more than enough for what I do so I would assume it's good for you too Jason. Let me know when you do it... you will have questions smile

Jason I did quite a bit of work on that body lift too [Finger]

All 4 tires are fine...they have some nice skid marks on them from hitting the highway but it just knocked the mud off. I am handing them down to Brian for free.

We have put on more suspension lifts in my driveway than you can shake a stick at. (WTF does that mean anyway?)

Re: Roger - 14/02/04 10:20 AM

That it would take a long time to shake a stick at each truck, and you would get tired before you were done and just give up?

Re: Roger - 15/02/04 07:10 PM

I guess. OK so we haven't done that many lifts. I think I could shake a stick for quite some time. [Finger]
