Geocache on the 21st

OK, the club is getting together for a day of Geocacheing on February 21st here in Waco.

I would like to know who is coming.... in order to make sufficient plans. Depending on numbers will determine format, caches and happenings.

Remember you can ride along with someone that has a GPS. You may just follow and tag along or just help. It is fun for all including the better half and kiddos.

It's a walk in the park or even bike in the park. Waco has caches from very easy and close to very difficult and in the boonies.

Email or post specific questions! Just want to see if it's individuals, teams or just one big group trying to find a cache.

Me + 0.5 - GPS = in

Becky and I + GPS plan to be there.

I am going to try to make it, it all depends on where I am at on the pathfinder mods. If I have the skid, bumper, gas skid, and onboard air done then I am in.

For anyone who may be interested, a co-worker is selling a Magellan GPS 2000. It's a pretty basic setup (comparable to the Garmin eTrex), but it will geocache. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you more info.

I may be coming up, but I will need to shotgun with someone, amanda is going to dallas and she "must have the X" so i will be coming in one of the 4 bangers, unless someone from austin is going then I can tag with them.

Hold your horses!!!! at the Texas Ranger Museum

OK, we will meet at The Texas Ranger Museum at 10:00 am on Saturday morning. Exit 335 on I35

We will start out easy and do a few caches in Cameron Park 2 miles away.Depending on numbers is how we will attack them. Teams, individuals or all together.

Then with interest we will do some harder ones.

Bring a small cooler for lunch / snacks and drinks. We will be in parks and may or may not want to stop and go eat.

If you want to remove something from the cache please bring some small token to put back in. It's always nice to leave something from your town or of special interest. I usually leave a Texas Ranger badge when cacheing out of town If I take something good I leave an Xterra Matchbox too.

You do not have to take or leave anything ... just sign a log.

I will post coordinates tonight or tomorrow so you can be prepared
