big bend 2010

don't venture here as much as use to. single again and now can do more of what i enjoy.

considering a big bend trip in either late winter/early spring or late fall/early winter. summer open, but will be hot. looking at no more than 10 days. gives plenty of time for trails and sight seeing. like to spend the last night at terlingua(sp) ranch. been about four years so want to make it back.

if no interest will go solo. just giving an open invite.

was shooting for late feb/early march or late october to avoid the summer heat. tno gave january. so january is in. just need response on best dates for everybody. prefer the cold over the heat. makes campfires more enjoyable.

I might have an interest in the Oct. run, but it's a 10 hour shot for me to get to Big Bend. Gives me a year to get ready.Let's try to keep this cclose to the top. I'll try to get the $$$ worked out. I run my own business as wel as work a 45+ hr. job so I've got to figure all that too.

We actually went to the state park (Big Bend Ranch) next door to the national park (they allow guns, dogs, and fire ).

We had the Tascate II campsite

feb/march 2012. any interest? unless i financially go broke, medical reasons, taxes, vehical repairs, or going alone, it should be a go. alot can happen in a year.
