Bridgeport is awesome, havent tried barnwell yet. They keep closing all the little places in the area. My brother-in-law keeps talking about some moser valley (or something to that effect), but i havent found it yet

Barnwell is the best place I know of near Dallas that is still open and legal

I've heard Barnwell is a lot of mud. Have you tried Bridgeport? its actually closer to DFW

Barnwell can be a mess when it's rainy - but that's not a problem right now! I love it out there... will probably head back out in the fall.
Bridgeport is pretty new and I haven't been there, but the guys on nissan trail riders have and I think they like it
I've been in the area in January and haven't gotten any opportunities to go get he tires dirty. I'd love to get some people together for a weekend run to Bridgeport!!

A weekend run sounds great to me. I have every sunday off so any time you're ready let me know. I've been to Bridgeport once, and it was awesome. I went alone last time so I didn't do alot, just cruised around and saw what I could. Theres 3 "areas" with trails of varying difficulty, so if any stock trucks come they can play too.

an xterra run out to bridgeport would be awesome! i havent had the chance to get out there yet. im part of another 4wd club here in tx which is dfw-tx4wd.org and we know a guy outside stephenville who used to have a park open but shut it down to public but lets our club use it. you guys should sign up and maybe we could make a run out there.
its prime time to go wheeling! lets do it
I'm chomping at the bits to go!! Haha...Saturdays after 5 and Sundays work best for me to make a run. I can even go as soon as this weekend or next weekend.

Bridgeport is a lot of fun. Plenty of trails ranging from single diamond all the way up to 5 diamonds. Lots of 3's & 4's, though. Although, I've never been in the X. As soon as the lift and tires get installed (couple weeks) we'll take 'er our and see how she does.
I've only been in my '11 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4DR. And so far I've done well.
Great place to get your feet wet!
