new to the X

Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I just got a 2007 4x4 S trim. I live in Redondo Beach. Looking forward to going on some runs. Presidents weekend is coming my fiance, my daughter and I are planning to go camping at JTNP for that weekend. Are there any good trails in the area? hope to see some of you on the trail.

Welcome. There are some good trails in JTNP, I just don't know where they are. I'm sure someone will post up a few.

There are a lot of great trail around JTNP. Geology Tour Road is fun, scenic and easy. At the East end is Old Dale Road and all the miles of old mining roads it lead to. Pick up the Tom Harris map for the park before you head out and check it out. Be forewarned, I popped two tires in the mining district the last time I was there. What a hoot!

I did some research on the Berdoo Canyon, that one looks like fun. Also are most of the roads ok for a stocker.

Berdoo Canyon is fun. Its not too difficult, with only a couple of spots that are slightly tricky. What weekend are you going to be out here?

We were thinking about going out Presidents weekend since it's three days. But we may skip that and go out the next weekend to Johnson valley/Rattlesnake run. Hopefully we can make a decision this weekend.
On a side note, we may try to go up to Big Bear for the day on Sat.

This Saturday or on the 24th? My fiancee and I along with our X and another friend and his girl who have an Toyota FJ will be up at Bear this Saturday messing around off-road.

If we head up it wouldn't be until after 11, my fiance (Nicole) doesn't get off work tell then. Where are you guys going to go?
