Garage Day at Spencer's

Great turn out on Mod/Garage day as Spencer was kind enough to host and a large showing of SCCX,with some Dirty World and California Off Road Nissan Club making appearences. It was a great oppertunity to exchange ideas and of course realize that there is still alot of gear,mods,equipment and accesseries to spend money on.

Thanks to everyone that helped out on Saturday, especially Spencer for hosting and assisting with most of the lift. And that picture finally explains where some of these bruises came from....

Who's the dude yelling at Frank and why is Frank doing the Macarena in the middle of the street? BTW, how did the diff drop go?

That's Tom, he's an old friend. We shared an apartment in Italy back when we spent a year there in college.

I don't recall doing the Macarena, so that must just be another example of John's ability to shoot a photo that conveys a meaning totally contrary to what was really happening. It's a talent, he should get a job with the National Enquirer.

Oh, I thought it was some kind of Mod Day -Macarena Boot Camp.

I've got to go with Mitch on this one.

Didn't do the diff drop. Partly due to time, and partly due to tiredoutedness. I was kind of hoping you would have done yours already so I would know what to expect. If you want to have a mini-mod day and do them I'd be up for it.

Hey Dave how's the truck driving? did it settle yet?

Did you get a chance to stop by SLR?

I just got the missing part from my kit yesterday. I don't think I'll get a chance to do the install until things slow down at work. We will have to see.

Spencer we need to talk about doing the Body lift still. I dont know maybe mitch you and bobby could come down and help out that would be great. And i should be ordering shocks this week but i can do that myself.

BTW StrikeDistance, sorry I didn't post a few pictures of your X, having a few computer problems.

Truck drives great. I wouldn't say the ride is more stiff than before, but it is more firm. Probably closer to what it was like when new. I have to adjust my headlights, though. I was hoping to wait until I got my leaf springs, which still haven't come in yet and is why I haven't gone to SLR. He said he would call me when they got delivered this week. I may just swing by again to see how things are going.
