about southern ca club

Can you tell me a little about this club? I'm located mid-state, do you come to the sierras? or mainly desert stuff? How does one join? Are you real strict Xterra only or are others allowed along? Are you really hard core 4X4? Will I damage my X every time out? Is there really a god? And what really did happen to JFK?...

Like Dave said you need to ask those questions on our home page But I can tell U that they are a great group of Guys/Girls to hang with. They even let us 4X2's go out and play with them

The club is just a real relaxed place for fellow X owners to get together and enjoy each others company. We have Xcursions once a month, come rain or shine somebody will be there as evidenced by the last Calico run. All vehicles are welcome to come along on the outings as long as they are trailworthy and they realize that the Xcursions are Xterra focused. There are a few of us that you would probally call "hardcore". Although damage is possible on any trail as long as you don't follow myself, Twitch (Mike Benner), or Xtoolbox (Brian) then you probably don't really need to worry about it. (Sorry if I forgot about any of the other "harcore" people) And above all, whatever you do, regardless of what he tells you, NEVER, EVER, NO MATTER WHAT, DO NOT FOLLOW LOGAN!!!!

And comments like this are one reason for my absence now-a-days. If anyone remembers from that fateful day... I was behind someone else when that happened. And was more concerned about some others and the ones that tried to assist than I was for myself.

Well, some people know you well enough (like Allen) to break your balls a bit ....but not all.

I know for the most part that he is joking, as are some of the others. But some of the other newer people do not. I guess it's ok as I was the one who knew the back way to DV last month and got them out of the traffic jam! And they had to follow me then....and in the Volvo too!

Haha...there ya go.

As you know with this group, you need a bit of a tough skin and the ability to dish it back. It's all in fun though.

Although you've left us with our jaws hanging open on a couple of occasions, you're a valuable and knowledgeable member of this club. Hell, if I ever got lost anywhere in the lower half of California, I'd call you before search and rescue!

I wonder where he went. I haven't seen him post here or SCCX forum for a while.

As one of the newer guys, I can vouch for Logan. He's a cool person and I am sure a lot of SCCX people like pulling his leg.

I met him on my first Xcursion, and he is a great guide. He took the group to some really interesting places. Like "snow" in the desert. :p
I think he still thinks he has an X though with what he put his Volvo through.

those that have been in SCCX a while should know: If i dont like you, I don't give you a hard time. I just tell you you're a moron.

So Logan, its a compliment, it really is.
