I've heard word from a lot of people that everything is ok, although we're all gagging on smoke and ash. Lory and the guys in Rancho Cucamonga made it ok, although it was a close one.
The situation is far worse than a lot of the outside media is making it out to be. The fires are not just in outlying areas of SD. I just got back from San Francisco this afternoon and was surprised.
I'm wondering about one of my fellow SD members who just bought a house and moved to the Scripps Ranch area (one of the hardest hit) just 2 weeks ago.
We'll hang in there.
