Sgt. Justin Quinn - 24/07/07 09:03 PM

Hey everyone, I just got an email from Justin. His ears must have been ringing on Saturday. Some of you may remember him from one or two of the runs. I think Rattlesnake Canyon and Mojave Road '06. Anyway, he is in Iraq (again) and needs an X-cursion fix. He noticed that the site is down so I directed him here. So lets post some of our favorite pics from the past year here for him. If you can, include a little info about the picture. Thanks.

Yeah Justin,
That's right we're thinkin' boutcha buddy.
I think I saw your truck a few months back.
It was parked on a street just off PCH in S. Clemente. If I remenber right, it was somewhere near the Stewart surfboards shop.
I hope you and your girls are doin' well.
Let us know when your getting home.

Justin was on the first run I did with the club, Rattlesnake Canyon back in Feb 2006. It was fun to go back and look at photos from my first real off-road trip. (I really had no idea what I was doing then.)

Justin, do your best to stay safe out there, looking forward to seeing you on a trail again soon. Let us know when you are due back, we'll set up an Xcursion/Party.

Justin,

Thank you for defending our country over there. I do appreciate that freedom has a cost, and your paying that price for me. Thank you for your service to all of us. Beers and steaks are on me when you come on the next run.

I promise to run out of gas for you too.

Justin,

Good to hear news of 'ya. Thanks for serving. A bunch of us have been wondering about you.

Come back safe and soon and show off that trailer of yours on a run or two. We'll get some of those clean-up runs going up Santiago Peak or something that we talked about doing.

Post up when you're coming back and we'll get a BBQ run planned. We'll go somewhere fun and you'll be back to seeing sunsets like these only with your X parked in them.

Pic is one of Jason's.

One of my favorite pics. Camp fire, camp light, and the north star.

Keep safe out there. Thank you for your service. I owe you a drink, or some dinner.

Well,

actually....it's Staff Sergeant now!

It seems like an eternity.....but, that time is almost here.....yep, the end to another deployment. I've been gone for 15 months on this one and cannot wait to get home and hit the trails.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted pics and dropped in for a shout out. It really means a lot to me and it helped to brighten that light at the end of the tunnel during the dark times.

I hope to see you all in a few months on the trails!
