Just an idea. I have seen on other sites that I am a member of, they have at the bottom who is online, then you can chat with them.

I too have seen this on other site, moderatly cool. Does the 'VB' board offer this?

VB and UBB both offer a 'Who's Online', but neither offer a chat client.
We have a chat client here, up top, under the 'Chat' link.
