Tweak the search engine . . .

As a good and loyal XOCer, I use the search button.

However, when I do use the tool, I find that I spend a good amount of time scrolling through the Search In: list, trying to find the damn forum I'm looking for . . .

What is the logic for the way the forums in this list are laid out?
-Not alphabetical.
-Not set up to mimic their place in the Forums page.

Is it possible to tweak this list?
Might make it easier to find the forum you want to search . . .

I'm not Ian, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I'm pretty sure they are in the order they were created.

How about a "Search all forums" or allow a search of multiple forums? That would be fabulous.

You used to be able to search all forums, but it took forever and it ate up bandwidth so Ian disabled it if I remember correctly.

They are ordered numerically, which makes the list pointless. The best way to use it is to go to the forum you want to search, and search from there.

Someday, a million years from now, I'll find 100 free hours and convert the board over to vBulletin. I was going to do it a few months ago, but it didn't convert correctly. Now that they have fixed it, I'm at work, and don't have free time to do it.
