views

Hey Ian, how hard is it to enable the board to show the number of "views" a post has had? I'm pretty sure I've seen this feature on other UBB boards. My thinking is that it could be useful when one has asked a question and is awaiting responses, to know if others have seen the post and not responded due to lack of knowledge or interest, or if the post hasn't been seen by all that many. Some of the more thoughtful members may also benefit from knowing if others find their posts interesting and worth viewing, or if they would be better off not sharing... Just a thought.

It's not a feature of the software and I assume would take a lot of work to incorporate into the code.

Oh, well yeah if its not a feature then forget it. I'd seen it on another UBB board and thought it may be more of a setting type thing, you know, check this box if you wish to enable view counting/display. Thanks for looking into it.
