When entering "my profile" and selecting "update new post indicators", what timeframe are we looking at here?
The reason I ask is this; last night before bed, around 0100, I read through all the posts, refreshed the page, and clicked on update new post indicators under my profile. Today, it tells me that some forums have new posts and some do not. I expect that. Under the forums with new posts, posts which were made on the 3rd and read by me are still considered new posts. Why? Is there anything that can be done to ensure that new posts I haven't read are the ones marked?
Well, here I am a few minutes later, and all the posts I have read are no longer marked new. Hmmm...Maybe if you click on update new posts then hit the refresh button....Anyways, still answer the questions if you can. This may have been a fluke.
