Aftermarket Installers in Colorado

Aftermarket Installers in Colorado - 05/04/02 02:17 PM

I'm looking for a good aftermarket installer in the Colorado area between Pueblo and Denver. I'm interested in installing some of the SLR items and I don't want to handle the Cam install on my own. Any ideas on who to contact and/or avoid?

Jeth, just how far north or south. I am having the SLR Stage 2 kit installed(actually as soon as I finally get it) and will let you know how it went. I am trying to avoid engine changes - that not the warrenty that I am willing to void.

Springs has a number of good 4x4 shops, or you may consider more of a performance shop.

I am in central Pueblo.

For the cam work I would find a Nissan specialist, and no one else.

Steel City X, I'm in the Springs and I was looking for someone who specializes in Nissan engines. I feel pretty comfortable with doing most of the engine mods myself, except for installing the cam. I'm rapidly approaching the 50,000 mile mark and think I'll need the lifters also. That is a little too much for me to undertake at the home garage. Thanks and let me know how the mods go - Jeth

I would go find a Z Car board and find out where they get their work done.

Jeth, check out D&H Specialists, I have taken my x there for a consultation, it turned out to still be under warranty, but they really seemed to know the engine and suspension very well. He did say he hasn't worked on many xterras though.
