I have an 02' XE. I was looking into a locker for the rear. What type of rear end do we have (DANA, AMC, ETC....)

We have a Nissan Corporate H233B 33 spline axle. The only available locker is the ARB air locker.

I'm trying to remember, but I believe the Lock-Rite is only made for the 31 spline version of the H233B, while the Xterras use the 33 spline version. I think the older hardbody pickups and Pathfinders had 31 spline versions.

correct. The lockrite won't work.
Nothing to do with the spline count really - the lockrite is designed for a 4 spider diff. The later 33 spline diffs are 2 spider.
