Pulley replacement

After sorting out the loud noise under the hood - was a dying alternator, I now hear a quieter noise. Stethoscope says it's the fan belt tensioner pulley. Anyone replaced one of these? Does Auto Zone carry them, or is it a dealer only part? Difficulty?
