Flowmaster exhaust tip?

Flowmaster exhaust tip? - 23/09/07 03:00 PM

Hey guys

I dont really have the money to drop on a full exhaust system for my truck, but I'd still like to have a little more of a rumbly sound when I accelerate.

Will a flowmaster exhaust tip accomplish this for me?

Thanks [ThumbsUp]

no it won't. Cheapest option is getting a muffler shop to custom fab something for you. Probably get something decent for 150 bucks.

Either that or find a muffler that will fit in place of the stock unit. From experience I can say stay away from Flowmaster, they tend to be more restrictive than stock even though they have a nice sound to them. I'd go with Magnaflow, it's what I'm planning on doing in the spring.

I had a local muffler shop replace the stock muffler with a Magnaflow and the sound and quality is great...not too load but is noticed....
