Weapon-R intake - 13/11/02 04:16 PM

I wanted to know if anyone else uses this intake...I have a friend at work that ownes a 99 Frontier that we installed this on and the fotment was good...But I am wondering if you guys have any other results(good or bad) cause he has had his on for such a short time...

Now they are offering them for the X's as well now I'm wondering if they'll fit 100% true like they did on my friends truck, what do you guys think???
I'm sure it would seeing that it's the same engine..And they run around $180for the intake..Let me know your imput... wink

The problem with using this style of air intake is heat soak from the engine. Does it come with any heat shields?

Actually yes they do offer a heat sheild for the intake..and if I'm not mistaken the set-up is cheaper than the K&N set up....

I'd be hesitant to use an air box upgrade that uses a foam filter element. I don't believe that they do as good a job as the "K&N" style filters.

Just my $0.02
