I have been told that adding a fuel additive can be harmful to a supercharged , or turbo, engine. I have never had a F/I engine before this one so I have never heard that. Is this true?

I have owned nothing but FI for the last 20 years. I have added Techron every once in a while (once a month) and never had a problem. I had a turbodiesel and used additive in the diesel every tank. No problems. Got good performance.
