Where is the 3.3L V-6 IAC valve located??? - 14/10/16 03:30 PM
My 2002 Xterra normally aspirated 3.3L V-6 has begun stalling out at stops. My local mechanic says it is my idle air control valve. I have the factory shop manual on CD and pictures/drawings from the Web, but I can't find it on my Xterra.
Can anyone direct me to an online picture showing where it is on my engine??? Even directions as to where I might locate it would be appreciated.
I have Autozone's picture of the $160 replacement IACV, so I think if I knew approximately where it is I might be able to test/clean/replace it.
I'm on a dial-up connection so YouTube is not an option.

Edit: Although my Xterra is registered as a 2002 (I bought it new) the build decal on the drivers door says Build date: 08/2001
