Awesome. Very cool, very classy.

I've had the pleasure of seeing both the Marines and Army's drill teams at different times. Amazing stuff.

Awesome clip, thanks for sharing. Obviously that wasn't in Berkeley. laugh

I just finished and highly recommend One Bullet Away: The Making of a Marine Officer by Nathaniel Fick. Outstanding memoir of Marine officer training and combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. A great companion read is Generation Kill by Evan Wright, a reporter embedded with Lt. Fick's Recon platoon in Iraq.

The Texas A&M Fish Drill Team is awesome if you're interested in this sort of thing.

Not always silent - but still awesome.

The "marine" drill sequence in the opening credits of "A Few Good Men" was actually the Fish Drill Team. HERE

It's been a long time since I have seen A FGM but I remember when I first saw it (I was a Marine at the time), I thought that it just didn't look right... the commands, not using Garands, the loss of bearing in their faces, and that they just didn't look like Marines. You can fool the public, but you can't fool real Marines.

And we were in the glorious mountains of Camp Pendleton... can you imagine if it was a combo of sand fleas AND mountains? YUCK!
