Proxy server?

Proxy server? - 24/10/07 08:38 PM

Does anyone know of any proxy servers that work, but aren't identified as a proxy server? The computers in theater have websense blocking sites that really have no adult content. I had youhide.com working for about a week when someone figured it out at the big central computer place. Now access to all of them is blocked. I figure there's enough geeks and nerds here that someone should be able to help me, what with everyone's knowledge of airplanes on conveyor belts and all.

You have a family at home, with a computer?

Have them set it up so you can use it as a proxy. Or use remote desktop to surf through that computer. Those Websense filters suck.

Or you could setup your own proxy on a Dedicated Server through a Hosting provider, but that would cost quite a bit in monthly charges.

InfX708...

You could try this website....

http://www.stayinvisible.com/

On the left hand side they have a Web Proxy List . The list of proxy servers is always being updated.

Some proxy sites are better than others. You will have to test some to find one that works good and brings up pages fairly fast (some proxy sites bog you down with ads).

Yes, TOR is awesome. There is even a mobile version of it.
