Brush Guard Protection

What do you use to protect your factory or any other brush guard??

Removal and selling it.

I know that the factory brush guard isnt to popular around hear i know that i didnt ask whether or not you like it i was asking how to keep it looking nice because i like it and want it too look nice!

Hey, I kid - because I bought one as an unedumacated newbie. Here you go, keep it clean. Wipe it down with Simple Green if it's really dirty.

And seriously, if you want to go offroad on anything moderately challenging, do consider removing it...or be prepared for "Chia grills" and scratched up fenders.

yeah i know your right but im not looking to do any serious off roading i dont want to do ascents that are very steep its a new truck and im not gona beat the hell out of it off road just maybe some dirt and mud but im not anywhere near as hard core as alot of the people on this board are. And yeah you are right and if i ever do want to go off roading i will get some sort of mod but that will most likley be after my warrent runs out.

I have the newer version Nissan brush guard. It stays clean with a normal hand wash and does not needs extra protection sprayed, wiped or brushed on.

I really like my brush guard. I go wheeling every so often to places where I need to remove it so I reserve some patience to take it off and on, 20 min. each time so it's ok.

One thing though, many aftermarket guards, (many are not aluminum) after about a year in the dry desert climate of Utah, are rusting like hell. I'd like to see one after being in the open in a rainy climate for that long.
