Tire Gloss/Shine - 06/08/04 09:32 PM
I may pay extra but I take the X to the dealer to perform all scheduled service. I have been more than pleased so far. After the last service I noticed Nissan of Hickory (NC) had cleaned the truck and glossed the tires. It looked VERY good. I asked what product was used for the tire shine, and the service dept indicated it was something only available through Nissan for dealers. I was not given a name for the product, but I'll bet it lasted at least 3 weeks, even in several rain showers.
What have you guys and gals seen that keeps your X with showroom looking tires?

I use Dupont Teflon Wheel/Tire cleaner and then dress with Black Magic Tire Wet. I've been very pleased thus far.

Meguiar's works really well with the bonus of not discoloring the RWL's. A lot of tire dressings turn the white letters beige.

I use Westley's Bleache White to clean, Black Magic Tire Wet to make them shine.
Cleaning the wheels and tires can sometimes make the world of difference on how a vehicle looks
