I just figured out an awesome solution to getting dog hair out of the carpet. It gets just about everything that's not small enough to fall between the fibers.

It's a scotchbrite paint stripping pad. about 3/4 of an inch thick, on a flat plastic slab with a palm handle. It's the bomb... got so much hair out it was amazing!

Wow, my first post in this forum....

A while ago, I picked up one of those mitts with small rubber teeth to it, ( for grooming dogs ) worked like a charm. Got to pick up and try the scotchbrite.. 2 dogs with mega fur.. I'm always open to suggestions.

I sometimes use a combination of either packing tape in strips, OR, a curry comb (one of those metal combs used for German Shedders - like what we got).

that works ok till all the dirt makes the hair not stick. if you are sick of all the hair, try my method. easy, and you just pull the stuff off. also good at getting dirt and rocks out too! Just sweep towards the door!
