Gaahhh! Tree gunked up my Yellow X - 12/06/03 04:56 PM
Stupid me. Didn't feel like hiking to my Apt. so I grabbed a nearby spot under a tree. The next day I noticed a bunch of REALLY tiny black spots all over my X. I tried washing but they wouldn't come off with a sponge or terry cloth. I can remove them with my fingernail but then they leave a slightly redish colored spot underneath. What type of cleaner would you guys recommend for getting this gunk off?

Mothers clay bar will take it off with some work. Just don't forget to wax afterwards.

Concur, Mothers clay bar will take it off with some work, took me about 3 hours(clean/wax)to do the wife's 02 Alty, PITA but worked.
