So whats the easiest way to do this and any recomondations on the paint doing in in the garage lots of rust

front bumper , lots of rust ??? guessing its probably an aftermarket bumper????

You might want to post what year you have, they probaly vary, I just dont understand the front bumpers having lots of rust,... mine is plastic,..... or are you talking about the metal parts that are hidden behind the plastic?

The 2000 and 2001 had steel front bumpers, and a plastic dam below with the fog light cutouts.
They rust where the side trim pieces touch them, worse on the drivers side.
1/ Get a Haines manual.
2/ Remove the side indicator assemblies.
3/ Remove the grill.
4/ Remove all bolts and clips holding plastic dam to bumper.
5/ You have two brackets on either side that locate to the bumper with an anti-vibration mount. Unbolt from chassis. Also a couple of tapping bolts in that area.
6/ Remove 2 big bolts holding bumper to front chassis extensions - pull bumper off.
7/ Paint.
