Owners Manual Different

Owners Manual Different - 23/05/01 10:36 AM

I recently went to upgrade my headlight bulbs, tried three different stores, three different types.

Still no luck.

Finally a guy from an auto store told me Nissan was known for doing that.

My owners manual is for a 2001 model, I purchased a 2001 model, but the born on date claims to be 2000.

What gives?
Will this be the same for all aftermarket items?
Am I the only one that has this problem?

Um, haven't you noticed by now that most model years start selling 6 months or so before the calendar year? You can go by a 2002 Cadillac Escalade today if you want.

Same goes for magazines, got the July 2001 issue of Four Wheeler right here...

I understand that but, does this mean my owners-manual will be incorrect on most replacement parts?

If your manual says it's for an '01 model, and your window sticker said it was an '01 model, then you're fine.
