Has anybody had a chance to put on the black moldings by yourself? is it hard?

Check out this site.
http://www.xterraparts.com/onlinestore/merchant.mv?

In the description of the side moldings they have a link to instillation instructions. Read them and make up your own mind. Looks like if you are patient, have the required 'tools' and measure carefully there should be no problems.

Dave is right on on this. Carlton and I put mine on, and they weren't much trouble, but they do require som taping and a steady hand. Nothing you can't handle. Far easier for me than pinstripes!

Just don't let yourself be distracted while you are putting them on. After measuring, taping and measuring again, I stuck the rear body side moldings on perfictly straight, but upside down, after the mailman came along and wanted to talk about what I was doing to my new Xterra.

It's not so bad, though. Now I can tell which Solar Yellow Xterra is mine among all those others in the parking lot.
